openSUSE 10.2 Alpha 5 (Oct 6 2006)

La quinta Alpha relase di opensuse 10.2 è statarilasciata. Questa relase è stata resa disponibile solo per i386 e per x86_64 e solo con iso per DVD apposto dei soliti 5 CD. Qui puoi trovare alcuni bugs che sono stati scoperti.

L'openSUSE Localization Portal è stato avviato (Sept 12 2006)

openSUSE 10.2 Alpha 4 (Sep 7 2006)

The fourth Alpha release of openSUSE 10.2 has been released. Some annoying bugs were already discovered.

openSUSE 10.2 Features and Roadmap (Aug 25 2006)

Andreas Jaeger has posted to the opensuse-factory mailing list a description of the goals for the openSUSE 10.2 release and what features you can likely expect. Also the complete roadmap leading to a release in early December was laid-out.

The third Alpha release of openSUSE 10.2 has been released. This release brings major version updates of the kernel, cups and X.org. Several annoying bugs were already discovered.

SUSE Linux 10.2 Alpha 2 & Distribution Renaming (Jul 13 2006)

The second Alpha release of SUSE Linux 10.2 has been released. Also was announced that starting with 10.2 Alpha 3 the distribution will be renamed to openSUSE to avoid confusion with the SUSE Linux Enterprise products.

New Mailing List: opensuse-translation (June 27 2006)

Hungarian openSUSE Wiki Launched (June 27 2006)

SUSE Linux 10.2 Alpha 1 opens 10.2 development

The first Alpha release of SUSE Linux 10.2 has been released. It brings new YaST package manager updates and fresh KDE packages.

Important SUSE Linux 10.1 Update (June 10 2006)

From today on openSUSE provides an important patch for the package management. It contains various bug fixes and performance improvements for YaST and Zen updater. We recommend to install this patch with YaST Online Update (YOU). For that please start YaST manually through the menu and use the 'Online Update' module.

SUSE Linux 10.1 Live DVD (Jun 6 2006)

The SUSE Linux 10.1 Live DVD is now available. The Live DVD is a 32 bit Intel based system which contains 4 GB of great Linux software compressed into a 1.7 GB ISO.
